Valley® Irrigation, the leader in precision irrigation, is working to make a difference in the fight against cancer by donating a center pivot for the live auction at the 2014 Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska.
The winning bidder will receive a 1,300-foot, fully loaded Valley 8000 series seven tower center pivot, including delivery and installation – a package valued at $75,000. Valley dealer 21st Century Water Technologies in Scottsbluff, Neb., will coordinate the pivot installation in the winners’ field.
The Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska, June 6-7, is held at a different ranch each year to raise cancer awareness and to raise money for cancer research.
Ninety percent of the event proceeds are donated to the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, with the remaining 10 percent earmarked for regional medical organizations.
Through the years, the event has raised more than $9.8 million dollars for cancer research.
